Exothermic Technologies Launches the Pulsefire® Compact

Fort Pierce, FL – Exothermic Technologies has released their latest ignited fuel stream torch, the Pulsefire Compact.

The handheld system is capable of generating a 15-foot stream of ignited gasoline with the press of a button. Electric arc ignition automatically sets the stream of fuel aflame as it passes through the nozzle.

While designed for lighting bonfires, brush piles, and spot-treating weeds from a distance, the experience tends to be as fun as it is functional.

The all-new injection molded design is powered by a USB-C rechargeable lithium battery pack, which provides energy to the fuel pump, ignition, and solenoid valve. The system boasts simple, on-demand operation without the need for pressurized canisters or pilot flames.

Regarding safety, the aforementioned solenoid valve only allows fuel flow if the battery pack is installed and both trigger buttons are pressed. The nozzle shield mitigates any drips from traveling rearward toward the unit or user, and the internal geometry of the nozzle, valve, and twice-looped plumbing prevent any possibility of the common concern regarding “blow-back”. Temperature sensors and over/under-current protection circuits are also integrated for additional safety.
