With the press of a button, the pump draws fuel from the reservoir and sends it through the nozzle, simultaneously igniting it.

John, it looks like you emailed us on Monday (1/19) and Thursday (1/22) while were out of office at SHOT Show. This time away was explicitly stated on our website, on our voicemail, and in the auto-responder email we configured: “While we’re typically available Monday through Friday 8AM – 5PM Eastern time, we will be closed 1/19-1/23 as we exhibit at SHOT Show 2026. Emails during this time will be answered as soon as we return.” Both emails triggered the auto-response and they were shown in our logs as delivered to Yahoo’s SMTP server. If you don’t see it, it’s in your Spam folder. We take great effort in ensuring our emails are received, and I can guarantee you, it is in your inbox (or Spam).
I can see that you made *one* phone call from the number on your order on 1/21/2026 at 10:29 AM, which is during the week we stated we would be out of office.
We didn’t “run” anywhere. We went to the biggest trade show in the world and met with our customers in person, as we should. The first we’ve heard of this situation was today over the weekend when one of us took a quick gander at what we missed while away.
We ship a %$*(-ton of orders daily, and extremely rarely, something gets stuck in the “Jacksonville black hole”, or picked up from our warehouse but never actually scanned in at the hub for whatever reason (incompetency, accidents, or theft). It appears the latter is what occurred with this one. If the tracking is stuck and has no updates after one business day, we’re always happy to help and we always take care of our customers, so this one star review is not representative of the situation. We are very eager to get you on the phone Monday to speak with you personally as we ship your replacement, and hope you are able to understand that we were out of office…
Absolutely love this thing
This is a great small and affordable torch system. While I prefer aluminum housing to plastic, it makes sense for weight with something one handed. The only dislike I had was that I couldn’t think of a reason not to use the cap from the UBF. The cap on this one needs to be opened before use. I find the 15ft flame and being one handed and lightweight to be more practical for starting things like small campfires than other torch systems I have.
The fuel pump design on this model generates no vacuum and cannot suck open a check valve, unfortunately. :/
Super happy with this purchase. So far it has been just for fun but as the leaves continue to fall it’ll get plenty of use. Thanks for being such a good and down to earth company!
