THE SAFEST WAY TO APPLY FIRE
We’ve sold numerous Pulsefire systems to the general public, firefighters, farmers, controlled burn prescribers, and members of the U.S. Forestry Service. While the UBF is focused more on novelty, it’s still capable of typical long range torch use.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Most of the FAQ answers relating to the Pulsefire® LRT also apply to the UBF.
Not that we're aware. We tested extensively with a SCAR chambered in .308, a firearm configuration known for being harsh on attached devices, and experienced no failure. We've seen customers attach it to a .50 BMG, shotgun, etc. and operate without issue.
Not that we're aware. We've had it attached to numerous short barreled firearms without issue, and so have our customers. We have a shield above the unit that helps deflect the blast.
In order to comply with regulations and avoid requiring permission from the state fire marshal, pyrotechnics license, etc., the Pulsefire LRT was offered with a short range nozzle for California customers. See more details here.
Unfortunately, the same nozzle installed on the Pulsefire UBF results in a very hot flame right by your hands. It is not a comfortable experience. Thus, we made the decision to not sell the UBF in California. You can always install the short range nozzle yourself if you have a standard UBF and want to feel the heat.

Works really well. Have had a blast with it . Would like a bigger tank to blast things longer

It’s a well made product especially for the price. I was skeptical at first because of the price and what it per claimed to be. All I had to do was pour regular gas in it turn a valve flip a button and about 15 seconds of constant flame or use at your own will. Zero regrets in this purchase.

Only thing to watch out for is the clamp for the pic rail does not have a cross bar made into it…..it only uses clamping force….so on some pic rails it has a tendency to slide forward and rearward a little.

Used for weeds, snow removal, and showing off to friends and son’s friends. Cuz, why not.

It was a birthday present to me. My friends and my wife think it’s a bit crazy but crazy is good in this day and age. I will not use it unless needed for a civil war LOL. I feel this may be an investment if they get taken off the market. It is well made, and the price was fantastic so get one and put it away if anything.
